Terms & conditions

Last updated:

Oct 24, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Zibo, including its website, applications, AI-powered design tools, UX knowledge library, interface analysis and benchmarking features, AI-generated outputs, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

Zibo is owned and operated by Designday Software Solutions Private Limited, a company registered in India (“Designday,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using Zibo, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

1. About Zibo

Zibo is an AI-powered design copilot intended to help users explore digital product interfaces, understand UX principles and design patterns, analyze and compare interfaces, and generate design-related outputs using artificial intelligence and contextual design knowledge.

Depending on availability and your subscription plan, the Services may include:

  • A curated library of digital product interfaces, screens, user flows, and design patterns.

  • UX teardowns and explanations of design decisions.

  • UX/UI analysis, comparison, and benchmarking reports.

  • AI-assisted answers to questions about interfaces, components, and user journeys.

  • AI-assisted user interface and design generation.

  • AI-assisted code generation or implementation support, where available.

  • Additional features, integrations, and resources introduced over time.

Zibo is currently in beta. Features may be experimental, limited in availability, subject to usage limits, or modified as the product develops. Not every feature described on our website will necessarily be available to every user or subscription plan.

2. Eligibility and Acceptance

2.1 Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under the laws applicable to you to use Zibo.

If you use Zibo on behalf of a company, agency, or other organization, you represent that you have the authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

2.2 Acceptance

You accept these Terms by creating an account, accessing the Services, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using Zibo.

Where required by applicable law, we will obtain any additional consent necessary for particular activities, including relevant personal data processing.

2.3 Business and Professional Use

Zibo is primarily intended for professional, educational, and lawful business use. You remain responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services is appropriate for your business, professional obligations, and applicable laws.

3. Account Registration and Security

Certain features require an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current registration information.

  • Keep your account information updated.

  • Protect your password and authentication credentials.

  • Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized account access.

  • Use the Services only as permitted under these Terms and your subscription plan.

You are responsible for activities conducted through your account, except to the extent applicable law provides otherwise.

You must not share, sell, transfer, or provide access to your account in violation of your plan or our instructions.

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary to address material violations of these Terms, security risks, fraud, or unlawful activity.

4. Beta Access and Product Changes

Zibo is under active development. We may introduce, modify, test, restrict, suspend, or discontinue features as we improve the product.

Beta features may contain errors, produce inconsistent results, have limited functionality, or change before general release. We do not guarantee that a particular feature will be launched by a specified date or remain available indefinitely.

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes affecting paid subscriptions where practicable and as required by applicable law or the applicable subscription terms.

Beta status does not remove any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

5. Subscription Plans, Fees, and Payments

5.1 Free and Paid Plans

Zibo may offer free access and paid subscription plans. Paid plans may differ in their available features, usage allowances, and other benefits.

The price, billing frequency, included features, usage limits, applicable taxes, and other relevant conditions will be disclosed when you subscribe or in the applicable plan details.

5.2 Monthly Subscription Billing

Paid plans covered by these Terms are offered on a monthly subscription basis unless a different billing arrangement is expressly stated at checkout.

When you subscribe, you authorize Designday or its designated payment service provider to collect the applicable subscription fees using your selected payment method.

Where a subscription is configured to renew automatically, it will renew for the next monthly billing period unless you cancel it before the renewal takes effect, subject to the checkout terms and applicable law.

5.3 No Free Trial

Zibo does not currently offer a free trial of its paid subscription features unless we expressly advertise a trial or provide one through a specific promotion.

Free access, if available, is separate from a paid subscription and may have different feature and usage limits.

5.4 Access After Payment

Once payment for a paid subscription is successfully completed, you may access the paid features included in your plan for the applicable billing period, subject to these Terms, usage limits, and any disclosed service restrictions.

Purchasing a subscription does not guarantee that every AI-generated output will meet your expectations or that every feature will be available without interruption.

5.5 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription through the available account settings or by contacting us at hey@zibo.design.

Unless applicable law or your specific subscription terms require otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period.

If you cancel during a billing period, you may continue to use your paid features until that period ends. Cancellation prevents the next renewal charge where processed in time and in accordance with the applicable cancellation procedure.

Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.

If a renewal payment has already been processed before your cancellation takes effect, the refund provisions in Section 6 apply.

5.6 Failed Payments

If a payment fails or remains overdue, we may notify you and request that you update your payment information.

Where permitted, we may retry the payment or temporarily restrict paid features until the payment issue is resolved. Any restriction will be applied subject to applicable law and the terms of your subscription.

5.7 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices or plan features from time to time.

Any price change affecting an existing recurring subscription will be communicated in advance where required by law or the applicable subscription terms. Where required, we will obtain your consent before charging a revised amount.

5.8 Taxes

You are responsible for applicable taxes associated with your purchase, except taxes imposed on Designday's income.

The applicable tax treatment and invoice details will be determined in accordance with relevant law.

6. Refund Policy

6.1 Refund Requests Within 10 Days

If you are dissatisfied with a paid subscription, you may contact us to request a refund within 10 calendar days of your initial subscription purchase.

Refund requests will be reviewed individually. We will consider the reason for the request, the nature of the concern, relevant account and payment information, and any reasonable steps needed to understand the issue.

If we determine that the concern is genuine and warrants a refund, we may approve a full or partial refund, as appropriate.

Submitting a request within the 10-day period does not automatically guarantee a refund. Approval is subject to our review, applicable law, and any mandatory refund rights.

6.2 How to Request a Refund

Send your request to hey@zibo.design with:

  • The email address associated with your Zibo account.

  • Your subscription or payment reference, if available.

  • The date of purchase.

  • A clear explanation of the issue and why you are requesting a refund.

We may request additional information reasonably necessary to assess your request.

6.3 Cancellation and Refunds Are Different

Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals in accordance with Section 5. It does not, by itself, refund the current billing period.

A refund request is assessed separately under this section.

6.4 Approved Refunds

If a refund is approved, we will initiate it using the original payment method where reasonably possible, or another lawful method agreed with you.

The time it takes for the refunded amount to appear in your account may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.

Where a refund is approved for the current billing period, we may adjust or end the associated paid access as appropriate and as permitted by applicable law.

6.5 Mandatory Legal Rights

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits a refund, cancellation, or other remedy to which you are entitled under applicable law.

7. User Content and Ownership

7.1 What Is User Content?

“User Content” means content you submit, upload, import, or otherwise provide through Zibo. It may include:

  • Screenshots, interface designs, wireframes, and prototypes.

  • Product requirements and design briefs.

  • User flows and design system materials.

  • Text prompts, questions, and instructions.

  • Brand assets and reference materials.

  • Files or other information submitted for analysis or generation.

7.2 Your Ownership and Permissions

As between you and Designday, you retain the rights you own in your User Content.

You represent that you have the necessary rights, permissions, and legal authority to submit the content and permit its processing through the Services.

You must not submit content that infringes another party's rights, breaches confidentiality obligations, violates applicable law, or improperly contains personal or sensitive information.

7.3 Limited License to Provide the Services

You grant Designday a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, and process your User Content to the extent reasonably necessary to provide, operate, maintain, secure, and support the Services and perform the functions you request.

This license does not transfer ownership of your User Content to Designday.

Any additional use of User Content for model training, product development, or other purposes must be consistent with our Privacy Policy, applicable disclosures, your choices where relevant, and applicable law.

7.4 Your Responsibility

You are responsible for the content you submit and for ensuring that you are permitted to use it with Zibo.

Do not upload confidential client materials, trade secrets, personal information, or other sensitive content unless you have the necessary authorization and have considered the relevant privacy and confidentiality obligations.

8. AI Providers and Data Processing

8.1 Third-Party AI Models

Zibo currently uses third-party AI application programming interfaces (APIs), including services provided by OpenAI and Anthropic (Claude), to generate responses, explanations, design-related information, and other outputs.

Designday does not currently operate its own proprietary foundation model for these features.

Depending on the feature you use, relevant prompts, instructions, excerpts of User Content, or other information may be transmitted to an AI provider to process your request and return a response.

8.2 Contact Information

Zibo does not intend to use personal contact details such as your account email address or phone number to train AI models.

Your account and contact information is managed by Designday for purposes such as account administration, communications, subscription management, customer support, security, and legal compliance, as described in the Privacy Policy.

We do not intentionally send account email addresses or phone numbers to OpenAI or Anthropic as part of ordinary AI generation requests unless doing so is necessary for a particular feature, expressly disclosed, or otherwise permitted by applicable law.

8.3 AI Training

Designday does not currently operate its own foundation model trained on Zibo user data.

We do not intend to use your personal contact details to train AI models. Prompts, uploaded designs, and other content submitted for AI processing are handled in accordance with our actual provider configurations, contractual arrangements, Privacy Policy, and applicable law.

The fact that an AI provider processes a request does not mean Designday is training its own model on that request.

8.4 Third-Party Processing and Retention

AI providers and other service providers may process or retain information in accordance with their applicable terms, data-processing arrangements, security practices, and retention policies.

The precise handling of prompts, outputs, and related technical information may vary by provider, API endpoint, and feature. Designday does not promise that all information submitted to an AI provider is immediately deleted after a response or is never retained by that provider.

Please consult our Privacy Policy for further details about the categories of information processed, the purposes of processing, and relevant service providers.

8.5 Changes to AI Providers

We may change, add, or remove AI providers or models as the Services evolve. We will update applicable disclosures where required by law or where a change materially affects our data-handling commitments.

9. AI-Generated Outputs and Professional Judgment

Zibo may generate design recommendations, UX explanations, benchmarking observations, interface concepts, written content, and code where available.

You acknowledge that:

  • AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, inconsistent, or unsuitable for your requirements.

  • Outputs may reflect assumptions or limitations in the information provided.

  • Similar or substantially similar outputs may be generated for other users.

  • AI-generated recommendations are intended to support, not replace, professional judgment.

  • Generated interfaces may require further design refinement, usability testing, accessibility review, and validation.

  • Generated code may contain bugs, security vulnerabilities, licensing concerns, or implementation defects.

  • AI-generated content may require additional verification before being used in a production environment.

You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating outputs before relying on them, presenting them to stakeholders, implementing them, or distributing them.

We do not guarantee that outputs are original, unique, error-free, legally compliant, accessible, or suitable for a particular purpose.

Zibo does not guarantee specific business outcomes, including increased conversions, revenue, user engagement, productivity, or product success.

10. UX Knowledge Library, Benchmarking, and Third-Party Content

10.1 Reference Materials

Zibo may provide access to curated interface screenshots, user flows, design patterns, UX explanations, and information about third-party digital products.

The underlying rights in third-party interfaces, names, logos, trademarks, screenshots, and other materials remain with their respective owners.

The appearance of a product or brand within Zibo does not imply that the owner endorses, sponsors, or is affiliated with Designday.

10.2 Permitted Use

You may use the Services to explore reference materials and inform your own design work, subject to these Terms and any applicable restrictions.

Access to a reference screen or interface does not automatically grant permission to reproduce, republish, redistribute, or commercially exploit that material outside Zibo.

You are responsible for determining whether your intended use of third-party material is lawful and whether additional permissions are required.

10.3 Protection of the Library

You must not scrape, systematically download, reproduce, redistribute, or republish substantial portions of the UX knowledge library or other protected platform content without authorization.

You must not use unauthorized automated tools to extract content from Zibo or build a competing interface library or substantially similar service from protected material obtained through the Services.

10.4 Benchmarking Limitations

Benchmarking results are intended to inform design decisions and are not definitive judgments that one design is universally better than another.

A pattern that works in one product may not be suitable for another because of differences in users, business goals, accessibility needs, regulation, technology, or context.

You should independently evaluate the relevance and accuracy of any analysis or benchmark before making product or business decisions.

10.5. Collection and Use of Third-Party App Screenshots

Zibo may collect, capture, document, and analyze screenshots, screen recordings, interface elements, and user flows from publicly accessible websites and digital applications, including applications installed and accessed by our team for product research and UX analysis.

These materials may be used to build and maintain Zibo's UX knowledge library, document design patterns, explain user experience principles, conduct comparative analysis, and provide educational and analytical features to users.

The screenshots and other reference materials may contain interface designs, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, and other elements owned by third parties. Unless expressly stated otherwise, DesignDay does not claim ownership of the underlying third-party materials.

Our inclusion of third-party reference materials does not imply endorsement by, affiliation with, or authorization from the relevant application developer, publisher, or brand.

We aim to use these materials for design research, UX analysis, commentary, comparison, and educational purposes. However, the inclusion or use of a screenshot is not automatically authorized merely because the underlying application is publicly accessible or available for download. Use of third-party materials remains subject to applicable intellectual property laws, contractual restrictions, and any relevant permissions or licenses.

You must not assume that a screenshot, interface, logo, or other third-party material available through Zibo is licensed for unrestricted reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use outside the Services.

If you are a rights holder and believe that material available through Zibo infringes your rights, you may contact us using the details in Section 21. Please identify the material concerned, provide its location within the Services, explain your rights in the material, and include supporting information where reasonably available. We will review the report and take appropriate action where warranted, including removing, restricting, or modifying access to the material where appropriate.

11. Intellectual Property

11.1 Designday Property

Except for User Content and third-party materials, Designday and its licensors retain their rights in Zibo and the underlying Services.

This includes our software, branding, logos, interface, original documentation, UX knowledge structures, proprietary analytical frameworks, original explanations, and other protected platform materials.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for their intended purposes.

No ownership rights in the Services are transferred to you.

11.2 Generated Outputs

To the extent permitted by applicable law and subject to third-party rights, provider terms, and any applicable plan restrictions, you may use outputs generated for you through Zibo for your intended purposes.

We do not guarantee that generated outputs qualify for intellectual property protection, are unique, or are free from third-party rights.

You remain responsible for reviewing generated outputs before using or distributing them.

11.3 Feedback

If you voluntarily submit suggestions, ideas, or feedback about Zibo, you permit us to use that feedback to improve the Services without compensation, provided that this does not grant us ownership of your confidential information or User Content beyond the rights expressly granted under these Terms.

12. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  1. Use Zibo in violation of applicable law.

  2. Infringe intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights.

  3. Upload malware or content intended to compromise systems.

  4. Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.

  5. Circumvent authentication, usage limits, payment requirements, or security measures.

  6. Interfere with the availability, integrity, or security of the Services.

  7. Use unauthorized crawlers, bots, or automated methods to extract platform content.

  8. Resell or sublicense access to Zibo without authorization.

  9. Reverse engineer or attempt to derive non-public source code, models, or systems, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law.

  10. Use the UX library to create a competing library through unauthorized extraction or reproduction of protected content.

  11. Submit content that you are not authorized to share.

  12. Use Zibo to generate or distribute unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, abusive, or otherwise prohibited material.

  13. Misrepresent AI-generated material as independently verified or tested when doing so would be misleading.

  14. Use the Services to violate another party's contractual or confidentiality obligations.

We may investigate suspected violations and take reasonable action, including removing content, restricting features, suspending accounts, or terminating access where justified.

13. Privacy and Security

Your use of Zibo is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and otherwise process personal information.

We use appropriate service providers and technical systems to operate the Services. No internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we do not promise absolute security.

You should avoid submitting sensitive personal information, confidential business information, or third-party data unless you have the necessary authority and the submission is appropriate for the feature being used.

We will handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

14. Third-Party Services and Links

Zibo may contain links to third-party websites or rely on third-party infrastructure, AI providers, hosting services, payment processors, or other tools.

Third-party services are subject to their own terms, privacy policies, and operational practices. Where those providers process information on our behalf or to fulfil your request, their role and relevant processing will be described in our Privacy Policy where applicable.

We are not responsible for independent third-party services to the extent permitted by applicable law.

15. Availability and Support

We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the Services, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Access may be affected by maintenance, technical issues, third-party outages, network disruptions, security incidents, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Support is available through the contact channels listed in Section 21. Response times may vary, and we do not guarantee a particular resolution time unless expressly agreed.

16. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Services will meet every requirement or expectation.

  • The Services will always be available, secure, or free from errors.

  • UX explanations, reference materials, reports, or generated outputs will be accurate or complete.

  • AI-generated designs or code will be suitable for production without further review.

  • Use of Zibo will produce particular design, commercial, or business outcomes.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a right, warranty, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Designday will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential losses arising from or related to your use of the Services, including loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, goodwill, or data.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Designday's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms will be limited to the total fees paid by you to Designday for the Services during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Where you have not paid any fees, the applicable liability limit will be the maximum amount permitted under applicable law.

These limitations do not apply to liabilities that cannot legally be limited or excluded. They do not restrict any mandatory rights or remedies available to consumers or other users under applicable law.

18. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Designday and its directors, employees, and representatives against third-party claims and reasonable expenses arising directly from:

  • Your material breach of these Terms.

  • Your unlawful use of the Services.

  • Your User Content infringing third-party rights.

  • Your violation of another party's rights or applicable law.

This obligation will not apply to the extent a claim results from Designday's own unlawful conduct or another circumstance for which you cannot legally be held responsible.

19. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Zibo at any time. If you have a paid subscription, cancellation is governed by Section 5 and the applicable subscription terms.

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of:

  • A material breach of these Terms.

  • Fraud, unlawful activity, or a material security risk.

  • Unresolved payment issues.

  • A legal requirement or direction from a competent authority.

  • Discontinuation of the Services or a material part of them.

Where appropriate and reasonably practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue before suspension or termination.

Termination does not automatically entitle you to a refund. Any refund will be handled under Section 6 and applicable law.

Following termination, your right to access the relevant Services ends. The handling or deletion of your information will be governed by the Privacy Policy, applicable product functionality, and applicable law.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual property, AI-output disclaimers, liability limitations, indemnification, and dispute-related provisions—will continue to apply to the extent legally permitted.

20. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms will be governed by the laws of India, subject to any mandatory protections or rights that apply under the laws of your jurisdiction.

The parties will attempt in good faith to resolve disputes arising from these Terms or the Services through direct discussion.

If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it may be brought before the courts of competent jurisdiction in India, subject to applicable law.

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer rights or other rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

22.2 Severability

If any provision is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.

22.3 No Waiver

A failure or delay in exercising a right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.

We may assign our rights and obligations as part of a merger, restructuring, or transfer of the relevant business, subject to applicable law.

We will update the “Last Updated” date when revisions are published and provide additional notice of material changes where required.

Your continued use of the Services after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance where such acceptance is legally effective. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the affected Services and cancel any applicable subscription in accordance with its terms.

22.7 No Partnership

These Terms do not create a partnership, agency, employment, or joint venture relationship between you and Designday.
